Teenager Suffers Life-Changing Injuries In Artane Stabbing

A teenager has suffered life changing injuries after being stabbed during an attack in Artane.

The 18 year old was assaulted by up to 20 people in a lane at Thorndale Walk last night.

It's believed the group then ran in the Rockfield Park direction between 8pm and 9pm.

Gardai are appealing to speak with witnesses, or anyone who has information about what happened.

Gardai say the man's injuries "are serious and life changing but not life threatening".

Artane Stabbing Garda Appeal

This lane where the attack happened runs between Thorndale Estate Artane and St David’s Sports Grounds.

It is believed as many as 20 young people from the area carried out the attack.

Gardaí are also asking drivers with dash-cam footage of the attack or the suspects to hand it in.
