The St. Patricks Festival cultural programme has been launched.

Festival organisers have unveiled the details of four days of music, storytelling, films and an enchanted banquet.

The committee came in for some criticism from Lord Mayor Oisin Quinn who said it didn't do enough to promote culture here in the city.

But Creative Director Susanna Lagan says the 17 events shows off everything the city and Ireland has to offer.

Particular highlights of this year’s programme includes The Enchanted Banquet, a sublime evening of Irish food and performance, Solo Space a very special musical and vocal performance featuring Iarla Ó Lionáird (voice), Seán Mac Erlaine (clarinet) & Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh (hardanger d'amore fiddle) at the Chapel Royal in Dublin Castle and Jape live at the RHA.

The programme offers something for everyone in the family including, children with Dabbledoo Music at The Little Museum of Dublin, a fun multimedia experience for young children, combining sound, illustration, performance and animation.

Spaces at these intimate events are limited. For a full list of events and to register for a place please visit www.stpatricksfestival.ie.
