Tens of thousands of Dubs will see their bin collection days changed as new rules come into force.

A new system sets out when private waste companies can send trucks out to collect rubbish in six different districts.

They can operate 7 days in the city centre but other parts will be restricted to different weekdays.

The city has been split into six areas with collections to the south of the city on Monday to the west on Tuesday and to the north on Wednesday.

Northeast areas will be covered on Thursday and Friday.

The aim of the move is to reduce disruption from competing companies.
