Murphy Called up to Ireland Squad

Brian Murphy's been called up to the Ireland squad for Wednesday night's friendly with Serbia. The QPR keeper comes in for Rob Elliot who was forced to withdraw through injury - Murphy's uncapped at Senior level but has played for the Under-21's. The Ireland squad trained in Malahide this morning ahead of that friendly at the Aviva. Murphy will join up with the squad later on while none of the players involved in games yesterday took part in todays session - that list includes John O'Shea, Damien Delaney, Ciaran Clark, Wes Hoolahan and Anthony Pilkington.
