Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle is due to undergo an operation on her back after getting injured during rehearsals for celebrity sports show The Jump.
The 30-year-old, who won bronze at the London Games in 2012, is in a stable condition.
Her mother has thanked everyone for their good wishes.
Beth is the third member of this year's celebrity contestants to pull out of the programme.
That's after fellow Olympian Rebecca Adlington withdrew from the show on medical advice after a shoulder injury and Holby City actress Tina Hobley dislocated her elbow and suffered two fractures to her arm, ending her time on the show.
