The Vodafone Comedy Festival: Iveagh Gardens, Thurs 28th - Sunday 31st

The Vodafone Comedy Festival comes to the Iveagh Gardens on Harcourt Street with a host of Irish and international acts taking to the stage. 

Bill Burr, Jason Byrne, Alison Spittle, Des Bishop, Milton Jones and Deirdre O'Kane are among this year's acts.

The Beatyard: Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Sat 30th & Sun 31st

Boney M, Rubberbandits and Snarky Puppy are among the acts that will take to the stage at The Beatyard, when it returns to Dun Laoghaire Harbour this weekend. 

Gates open at 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. The event finishes at 10.30pm both nights.

Billy Elliot The Musical: Bord Gaid Energy Theatre, 26th July - 3rd September

The smash hit stage show Billy Elliot has arrived in Dublin. It runs at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from July 26.

Billy Elliot was turned from an award winning film into a musical in 2005. Set in 1984, it tells the story of a young boy from the northern English town of Durham who loves to dance.

Gaze 2016 Festival: Light House Cinema, Smithfielld Square, 28th July - 1st August

Gaze, the international LGBT festival, runs until the 1st of August at the Lighthouse cinema in Smithfield.
