Always wanted to be on a TV show? Now is your chance! Vikings is looking to employ thousands of extras in Ireland for the new series of the show on a temporary basis.
Producers are holding open castings next week for a number of paid roles ahead of filming beginning in July in the Dublin/Wicklow area.
The production is looking for people from all ethnic backgrounds to take on the roles of fisherman, carpenters, farm workers, axe men/women, calligraphers, Arab speakers, musicians, midwives and more.
The auditions will be open to all adults aged 17 plus and will take place in Wicklow Town's Grand Hotel on Wednesday June 27th between 10am and 5pm and in The Complex, 10-14 Mary Street, Dublin 7 between 9am and 5.30pm on Saturday June 30th. Applicants can simply turn up on the day.
Hopefuls will be asked to fill out an application form upon arrival. Casting agents ask people to be prepared and come with knowledge of their measurements e.g. your Height, Chest, Dress, Shoe size.
