You may have left it late to plan your Valentine's weekend but whether you’re loved up, on the prowl, or just up for the craic – there’s lots on in Dublin.

Valentine’s Weekend @ Dublin Zoo

Dublin Zoo is hosting a Date Morning this Saturday and Sunday. You and your Bessie will collect a romantic breakfast picnic and then experience the early morning sights and sounds of the Zoo.

Love Gone Wild is also taking place at Dublin Zoo this weekend. Visitors will get a chance to find out how the animals indulge in exotic romantic rituals. More info HERE.

Smithfield Valentine’s Market Fair

This month event of market stalls, installations, music and food is back this Sunday from 12pm-7pm in Smithfield Square. There’s gifts, food and drink and live music on offer along with a Valentine’s film screening. Read more HERE.

Singalong Valentine’s Date @ MVP, Clanbrassil Street

Following the success of the Spice Girls sing along event last month, Sing Along Social is hosting a Valentine’s special on Sunday evening at MVP on Clanbrassil Street. It’s a great night where you and your other half or your mates can belt out some of the best love songs ever written. Ballads on the night will include: 

  • I Want to Know What Love Is - Foreigner
  • Take My Breath Away – Berlin
  • Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler
  • Careless Whisper - George Michael
  • Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O'Connor

All Fur No Knickers – Pink Swagger

All Fur No Knickers is back. Expect people dressed head to toe in pink at a secret location in the heard of Dublin. The Pink Swagger Facebook event page says:

“We don't believe in lovey dovey mushy stuff, but we do believe in cheese, glorious cheese! We'll be slappin' it on thick with tracks of guilty pleasures, nostalgia, funk, hip-hop, RnB and stone cold power ballads.”

How To Be Single

Calling all singles! There’s a right way to be single & a wrong way to be single. Find out which is which in the hilarious new comedy How To Be Single starring Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Alison Brie.

How To Be Single, will be released in Irish Cinemas on February 19th, with previews on St. Valentine’s Day.

Zoolander 2

Zoolander 2 is out today. Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out of the business. The film stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig and features cameos from Benedict Cumberbatch, Kim and Kanye, Justin Bieber, Lewis Hamilton and Billy Zane.
