There's reports Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson is 'keen to leave' the franchise, after butting heads with author E.L. James.
It was reported Sam had signed up for the sequels alongside Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, but according to sources her relationship with E.L. has become 'toxic'.
Insiders says they clashed over the sex scenes because E.L wanted them to be racier. A source told the Daily Mail: 'Sam pushed back because she wanted the movie to be more than just a collection of S&M scenes. '
In a recent interview Sam admitted they didn't always get on saying: 'It was difficult, I'm not going to lie. We would have proper on-set barneys and I'm not confrontational. But it was about finding a way between the two of us.'
