The actor who plays Claire Underwood in House Of Cards has revealed she threatened bosses she would "go public" if she wasn't given the same pay as her co-star Kevin Spacey.
Robin Wright plays the first lady, alongside - and sometimes up against - Spacey's President Frank Underwood.
"I was looking at the statistics and Claire Underwood’s character was more popular than [Frank’s] for a period of time. So I capitalised on it. I was like, 'You better pay me or I’m going to go public", she told the Huffington Post.
"And they did."
Slay, Claire. Slaaaaaay!
"It was the perfect paradigm. There are very few films or TV shows where the male, the patriarch, and the matriarch are equal. And they are in House of Cards," she explained.
Last year, it was reported that Wright had made about €372,000 per episode.
