Bring on the sad emoji faces and Facebook statuses!
One Direction could be added to the list of boy band breakups.
Last night, it was revealed that the four remaining 'Directioners' are going to be going their separate ways in March.
The band members want to do a Zayn on it, and focus on solo projects.
Supposedly, this break is only for a time, but we all know how these things go.
One Direction isn't expected to bring their fifth album on tour, meaning their final performance could be this October.
Hot Press journalist Colm O'Regan isn't surprised this is happening to the band:
"Well interestingly there has been nothing official from the band yet. None of the members have commented, their record company or their management. So we do have to take things with a pinch of salt for the moment. But yeah the idea I guess is that they'll have time to just shut down a little. And it's not entirely surprising when you consider that these guys were teenagers flung into the spotlight, and basically have just been going non stop for the past couple of years. It's probably not unreasonable that they might want a break every now and again."
