Iceland ‘probably’ will not perform live in this Thursday’s Eurovision Song Contest semi-final, after one of the band tested positive for Covid-19.
Daði og Gagnamagnið were scheduled to perform their song 10 Years during Thursday's semi-final.
However, the performance will now be replaced with a recording of their rehearsal, with frontman Daði confirming that one of the group tested positive this morning.
He tweeted: "A member of Gagnamagnið got a positive test result this morning.
"Unfortunately this probably means that we will not take part in the rehearsal today or live show tomorrow and a recording from our second rehearsal will be used in stead."

"We have all been extremely careful the whole trip so this comes as a huge surprise.
"We are very happy with the performance and super excited for you all to see it! Thank you for all the love."
It is unclear whether Daði og Gagnamagnið will be able to perform in Saturday’s final if they make it through.
Over the weekend, another member of the Icelandic delegation, who is not in the band, tested positive for Covid-19, forcing the group to miss the Turquoise Carpet event on Sunday.
Daði og Gagnamagnið is made up of singer Daði Freyr, his wife Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir, who is pregnant, his sister, Sigrún Birna Pétursdóttir, and their friends Hulda Kristín Kolbrúnardóttir, Stefán Hannesson and Jóhann Sigurður Jóhannsson.
