The GAA Museum at Croke Park is celebrating the ancient tradition of Summer Solstice with a family-friendly evening and Celtic-themed live performance on June 22nd.

The exciting and interactive family event will include plenty of dance, drama, storytelling, traditional games and audience participation in a mind-blowing hour-long spectacle with the famous 'Armagh Rhymers', one of Ireland’s most celebrated traditional music and theatre ensembles.

The Armagh Rhymers will do two performances at the GAA Museum on the 22nd of June, one at 6pm and one at 8pm. Your prize will also include Croke Park pitch viewings with GAA Museum tour guides, access to the GAA Museum and Interactive Games Zone, as well as Celtic activities in Cú Chulainn’s Den – the museum’s dedicated children’s arts and crafts studio.

Speaking ahead of the Summer Solstice celebration,Niamh McCoy, Director of the GAA Museum, said, “There is no better place to celebrate a traditional Celtic occasion like the Summer Solstice than Croke Park, a place where Irish traditions of the past and present are curated and kept vibrant. We are thrilled to welcome the Armagh Rhymers, who I know are very much in demand on the international festival scene and can't wait to see the reactions on the faces young and old when they perform.”
