Meanwhile, Met Eireann have released the outlook for the whole country over the next few days.

Friday

"Friday will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Most of the showers will occur in the northwest while the south and southeast will have dry spells. Winds will be mostly moderate, southwesterly but fresh and gusty in the northwest. Highest temperatures 16 to 19 degrees.

Friday night will become mainly dry for a time, apart from a few showers in the northwest and west. Later in the night, however, rain will reach western counties."

Saturday

"On Saturday morning, rain will spread to all parts of the country and will soon turn heavy in places. Most at risk from heavy rain will be southern and southeastern areas, although some heavy falls may also occur later in the west and north. Winds on Saturday may be fresh or strong at times in southern counties as the direction swings from southerly to westerly during the day; however, winds elsewhere will be mostly light throughout. On Saturday night, rain will clear to showers and cloud will break, while winds veer west to northwest, light to moderate."

Sunday

"During Sunday, some showers will persist early on but mainly dry and bright conditions will develop for the afternoon and evening; west to northwest winds will slacken as the day goes on and temperatures will recover normal values generally. Dry and mostly clear conditions will hold for most of Sunday night, but rain will arrive in western areas by dawn on Monday."

Monday

"During Monday, the rain will spread to most other parts of the country but some areas will stay largely dry. Winds will be light to moderate, southerly on Monday, making it very mild and humid."
