The man millions loved as Curly Watts is joining the stage version of The Commitments when it comes to Dublin.
The Bord Gais Energy Theatre has announced the cast that will be performing in the hit Irish musical when it comes here, with Kevin Kennedy playing Jimmy Rabbitte’s Da.
The stage version of the movie broke records when it opened in London's West End, and the Dublin cast will include many Irish actors like Amy Penston (Natalie), and her sister Leah Penston (Imelda).
Christina Tedders completes the Commitment-ettes, playing the role of Bernie.
Kevin Kennedy is no stranger to the stage. Since leaving Coronation Street, he's starred in theatre productions like Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and We Will Rock You.
The Commitments will run at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from October 12th - 29th.
