With the kids on holidays for the next few weeks, you might need a few activities to keep them busy and out of your hair.

We've complied a list of the best events taking place this month on Dublin's doorstep....

Groove Festival

Groove Festival - brought to you by Energia is the perfect blend of music, food, and fun activities to create a feel-good event for the whole family.

This year's Groove Festival takes place this weekend on the 7th & 8th July at Killruddery House & Gardens, Bray, Co Wicklow

The event will have two separate stages, playing host to local acts alongside big international names like Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Stunning & Heather Small (Voice of M People).

As well as loads of food options, there's a comedy tent, and a special area for junior festival-goers to hang out and play or chill out.

Energy provider Energia will unveil the ‘Energia Labs’ at Groove 2018.  The ‘Energia Labs’ area will offer festival goers, young and old the chance to experience the science behind energy through experiments and theatrics.

Expect every thing from a fun-fair, to live music, food stalls, and even the opportunity to take a helicopter ride.

The Bray Air Display makes for a wonderful summer day out for all the family.
