Ed Sheeran took two awards, including best pop album for Divide, although he wasn't there to pick up his trophies in person.
Kendrick Lamar won five including best rap performance for his song Loyalty feat. Rihanna.
Jay Z walked away with NONE of the awards he was nominated for. The rapper was given a nod in eight categories.
