Saoirse Ronan is stepping into the spotlight once again – this time not on the big screen, but in a music video with serious retro rock vibes.
The Oscar-nominated actress has teamed up with filmmaker Alex Garland for a reimagining of the iconic Talking Heads hit Psycho Killer, as part of a celebration marking the band’s 50th anniversary.

The song, a cult classic since it first landed in the late ’70s, is getting a new lease of life – and who better to help bring it to a whole new generation than one of Ireland’s finest acting exports? The project honours the anniversary of Talking Heads' first gig at the legendary CBGB club in New York, and it’s part of a bigger tribute to the trailblazing band.
While full details are still under wraps, the video is said to be moody, cinematic, and totally gripping – no surprise with Garland (of Ex Machina fame) in the director’s chair and Saoirse in front of the lens. It's the perfect pairing of music and film, and it’s expected to drop later this month.
