West Ham have completed the signing of Saïd Benrahma on a permanent deal, which clears the way for Jesse Lingard's loan move from Manchester United.

Premier League rules only permit clubs to have a maximum of two domestic loan signings within their squad.

Algerian international Benrahma initially joined the Hammers on loan from Championship side Brentford in October but the 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract until 2026.

Since making his debut at Liverpool on October 31st, Benrahma has made 14 appearances for the Hammers.

West Ham have agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Lingard on loan for the rest of the season.

The 28-year-old has only made three appearances for United all season with all three coming in the domestic cup competitions.

West Ham are fifth in the Premier League and face the team one place above them on Sunday when Liverpool visit the London Stadium.

The Hammers are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions and have won four league games in a row.
