Belfast siblings Aidan and Michaela Walsh have booked their place at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

They both progressed through their respective bouts at the European qualifiers on Sunday to complete the unique accomplishment.

Michaela progressed on a unanimous decision against her Swedish opponent Stephanie Thour in their featherweight quarter-final.

Her brother Aidan had it a little less straightforward in his clash with Ukraine's Yevhenii Barabanov.

He progressed following a split decision in the welterweight clash to seal his spot in Tokyo.

It strengthens Ireland's boxing contingent even further for the games.

Kellie Harrington and Aoife O'Rourke booked their Team Ireland place yesterday, while Brendan Irvine is also Tokyo-bound.
