Simon Cowell has claimed Westlife were once the 'ugliest boyband in the world'.
Speaking to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, Simon said when he first saw the Irish lads he thought they were so ugly he turned down the chance to manage them.
He said, one of the ugly ones went and dyed there hair and he didn't recognize him after that.
'It all ended well though, they went on to sell 50 million albums"
