Folks,

98FM’s weekly sports show “Now That’s What I Call Sport” airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.

Presented by myself Johnny Lyons, this weekÂ’s show broadcast on Sunday September 1st features the following guests :

1. Jack OÂ’Shea -

Thrilled to have on as my main guest the living legend thatÂ’s Jack on the day Ireland meet Kerry in the All Ireland semi final at Croke Park.

One of the greatest players ever to play our national games, Jack wore the green and gold shirt of Kerry with distinction in a distinguished career spanning three decades from the seventies through to the nineties.

In an award drenched career OÂ’Shea won The Magnificent Seven with Kerry and made it onto the All Stars selection an incredible six times.

It was an era when Kerry generally had the edge over the Dubs and the most memorable of his seven wins was the 1978 final when there was that infamous score from the KingdomÂ’s Mikey Sheehy when Dubs keeper Paddy Cullen was caught off his line arguing with the referee.

JackÂ’s opinions on the All Ireland semi final between Dublin and Kerry will be highly valued.

2. Charlie Redmond/Mike Frank Russell -

Jagger/Richard, Lennon/McCartney and Araya/Hanneman (this one’s for you Dave Moore ! and “Dollar” for Dara O’Beirne!).

You know, famous duos abound in the music industry and so weÂ’re starting a new sporting trend !

WeÂ’ve already had Robbie/Wood and Giles/Reaney so why not Redmond/Russell?

Chas was the darling of the Hill 16 terraces and won one All Ireland and 3 All Stars.

While Mike Frank from The Kingdom has 5 All Irelands and 1 All Star.

WeÂ’re happy to pair these two legends of the game together on a Dubs-Kerry chatfest while I nip out and sup from my Taylor Keith beaker !!

Over to you boys!

3. Jim Gavin/Ger Brennan/Johnny Cooper -

From the official standalone press conference we have a compendium of the pre match thoughts of three of the main Dublin protagonists.

CÂ’mon the Boys in Blue!

4. Andy Farrell -

And we kick off with one of our top motorcyclists Andy whoÂ’s just back from a week of racing at the Manx Grand Prix.

AndyÂ’s back for a weekend of smokinÂ’ hot action at the Killalane Road Races in Skerries which is the final race of the Irish Championship and where heÂ’s tryinÂ’ to retain his 400cc crown.

Competitions :

1. 1 pair of tix to see Ireland versus Sweden at the Aviva Stadium on Friday

2. 2 x 2 ROS Nutrition Blue Label Whey and ISO BCAA products up for grabs

3. 1 prize of Farrelly Racing merchandise including tix, t shirt, cap, mug, sticker and pens to give away

Thanks,

Johnny.
