Conor McGregor has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief by the NYPD after what happened in New York last night.
He has been arrested after an attack on a bus carrying UFC contestants at the Barclay centre yesterday.
But some Dublin Talks listeners have defender him.
A spokesperson for the NYPD has told 98FM News ‘The Notorious’ will be held in custody until he is taken to Brooklyn Criminal Court.
That will happen after 8am EST which is 1pm Irish time.
A second Dublin MMA fighter has also been charged with assault and criminal mischief.
25 year old Cian Cowley with an address at Hyde Park in Dalkey is also due in court.
On Friday’s Dublin Talks, we asked if this is the end for him as a worldwide superstar.
We were surprised that a number of his fans defend him.
