Ireland's Brendan Dolan says he's relieved to be through to the last-32 at the PDC World Darts Championship.

World number 30 Dolan can look forward to a third-round clash with second-seed Gerwyn Price following a 3-1 victory over Japan's Edward Foulkes.

"He was very dangerous. I knew nothing about him bar his first-round game," Dolan said on Sky Sports Darts after his match. "I'd seen how well he had played.

"His finishing was brilliant against Mike de Decker and his scoring wasn't bad either.

"I knew if he felt a wee bit comfortable he could be an awesome player. It made me feel very uneasy up there for my first game - when he had already been up there."

Carlow's Steve Lennon lost 3-2 to Devon Pieterson last night in a match where the players missed 70 doubles between them.

Two former world champions also crashed out yesterday. Adrian Lewis was beaten 3-1 by Danny Baggish, before Dirk Van Duijvenbode held his nerve to beat Rob Cross 3-2 after a sudden-death leg.
