We all know January is pretty grim. Chances are you're absolutely broke and/or you're doing Dry January for the month.

But, hopefully tonight's telly will make staying in a little easier.

Here's our pick of Friday night's television:

Can't Stop Dancing - 8.30pm, RTE One

The first episode of Ireland's Dancing with the Stars kicks off on Sunday. Before that, you can go behind the scenes on the new spin-off show 'Can't Stop Dancing' presented by Blathnaid Treacy.

Each week, Blathnaid will talk to the judges, the professional dancers and the celebrities taking part.

Celebrity Big Brother: Live - 9pm, 3e

Graham Norton's Big Red Chair - 10.35pm, BBC One

The red chair has to be one of the best parts of The Graham Norton Show and now our favourite piece of TV furniture is getting its own one-off special.

The gas segment sees audience members telling an entertaining/embarrassing story on the red chair in front of Graham's celeb guests, ultimately leading to them either being flipped or getting the honour of walking away.

On tonight's show, we'll find out how this flippable piece of furniture came to be a universally loved feature of his show.

Graham will also reveal his all-time favourite red chair stories.

The Late Late Show - 9.35pm, RTE One

Actress Amy Huberman and former Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey will be chatting to host Ryan Tubridy about their new legal drama Striking Out.

Ryan will also meet some of the famous faces from Dancing with the Stars, including Hughie Maughan, Teresa Mannion and Des Cahill, as well as their dancing partners.

There will be performances from Connor McKeon and country music star Derek Ryan.
