Watch Tom Hardy Reading A Bedtime Story On CBeebies

Tom Hardy showed just how sweet he can be after appearing on CBeebies New Year's Eve special. 

The Reverant actor won over fans with his perfect reading of You Must Wear A Hat by Simon Philip and Kate Hindley.

The book of course is for a younger audience, however it was clear from Twitter that the show was also enjoyed by older viewers.

Twitter was buzzing with some people even admitting they didn't have kids but still tuned in for the show. 

We would have done the same!
