There's an exciting new reality dating show in the works!

Dannii Minogue is set to host a new gay dating called I Kissed A Boy, which will be the UK's first gay dating show.

The premise of the show matches up 10 male contestants at the very beginning, then gets them to kiss before they even know each other's names.

"As soon as they meet, they kiss. No small-talk, no 'flanter', just one romcom worthy moment that might just take their breath away."

While the dramatic first kisses are the set-up, the show promises to be full of "explosive drama, gripping cliffhangers and powerful untold stories".

X-Factor's Dannii Minogue is very excited about the prospect of hosting this groundbreaking new dating show.

"I am so thrilled for a gay dating show to be entering the sea of other dating shows that have existed on TV for years. I have been a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community for as long as I can remember".

The announcement of this brand new TV show came after Love Island faced criticism for not making a LGBTQ+ version of the show.

Although ITV bosses have said they couldn't introduce this concept to Love Island as it would present too much of a "logistical difficulty".

We're definitely in support of creating new things instead of updating existing formats, and no doubt we'll be glued to the TV when  I Kissed A Boy airs!
