Ruth Negga stopped by Jimmy Kimmel and the pair got chatting about her accent, Donald Trump and how Ireland used to only have two TV channels back in the day.
Speaking on the US talk show she added that the channels only came on at midday at the weekend, and she used to be obsessed with My So Called Life in the 90s.
During the interview she explained how she hasn't yet played a part where she gets to speak with her own accent.
The 35 year old also rolled her eyes at the mention of Trump, saying she 'can't cope' with his swipe at Meryl Streep's Golden Globes speech.
