If you love 'Mrs Brown's Boys', happy days, as the foul-mouthed mammy played by Brendan O’Carroll is getting her very own entertainment show.

The new series 'All Round to Mrs Brown’s' will take place in her home and will be screened on Saturday nights on BBC One.

Agnes Brown will invite celebrity guests over and there’ll be ‘shenanigans’ and ‘outrageous stunts’ to surprise the live audience with.

O’Carroll said: ‘The entire cast is excited by this. I think Agnes may be worried that she’ll need a bigger kettle to make tea for everyone that’s coming round!’

A pilot for the new show has been recorded but it won’t be screened until later this year.

Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content added: ‘Bringing one of our biggest comedy stars Mrs Brown to Saturday nights in 2017 with a new entertainment show is going to be full of fun and mischief and totally unpredictable, I can’t wait!’

The show beat the likes of 'The Office', 'The Thick of It' and 'Peep Show' to be named the best British sitcom of the 21st century last year.

It’s been busy busy on the Mrs Brown front recently, after the much-loved comedy aired two specials over the Christmas period.

On top of that, Agnes will be touring around the UK in 2017, stopping at Dublin's 3Arena in December.
