Steven Avery’s new attorney is apparently planning to use new tests to help prove her client’s innocence.  Making A Murderer’s official Twitter account revealed the news this week.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Steven Avery&#39;s new attorney <a href="https://twitter.com/ZellnerLaw">@ZellnerLaw</a> plans to use advanced luminol testing to exonerate Avery. <a href="https://t.co/o2sRaNVmwu">pic.twitter.com/o2sRaNVmwu</a></p>&mdash; Making A Murderer (@MakingAMurderer) <a href="https://twitter.com/MakingAMurderer/status/697561502954430464">February 10, 2016</a></blockquote>

Luminol testing is used to detect blood in large areas that can’t be seen during a visual examination and Zellner reportedly plans to prove that Teresa Hallbach was not killed in Avery’s garafe of his trailer as was claimed in court in 2006.

Speaking to The Wrap, Zellner said: "We are continuing to examine every aspect of Mr. Avery’s case and all of his legal options. We are confident Mr. Avery’s conviction will be vacated when we present the new evidence and results of our work to the appropriate court.”
