A number of weather warnings remain in place in counties across the country this weekend.

A Status Yellow rainfall warning is in place for Cork, Kerry and Waterford until midday today.

There is also a Status Yellow snow-ice warning in effect for Connacht, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal until noon.

As for tomorrow, there is a Status Yellow wind warning in place from 6am until 6pm on Sunday.

This will impact 15 counties including Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford.

Met Éireann is warning of very windy weather on Sunday, with strong to gale force southerly winds veering southwesterly.

There is a risk of coastal flooding around high tide and there is also a risk of more severe gusts for a time in parts of the west.
