A teenager has been arrested in relation to a serious assault on a woman in Dublin on Wednesday night.
The woman sustained serious injuries in the assault on the pedestrian walkway between Georges Dock and Custom House Quay in the IFSC, and was taken to the Mater Hospital for surgery.
Gardai say a juvenile has been arrested and is currently detained at Store Street Garda station where they can be held for up to 24 hours.
