The big Group B clash on June 11th between England and Russia will be the first Euro 2016 match that TV3 will screen exclusively live this summer.

The Ballymount based TV station have announced details of an agreement to broadcast a total of 22 live games from the tournament in France.

State broadcaster RTÉ will retain the rights for 30 games, including all of the Republic of Ireland matches, but have reached an agreement to sub-licence the remaining games.

It's the first ever time RTÉ and TV3 have paired up to share rights for a major tournament, something which the BBC and ITV do in the UK.

RTÉ will also cover Wales' three group games, two of Northern Ireland's matches and one England game while the two broadcasters will screen the final.
