Spurs fans cannot brie-lieve that the club have scrapped plans for a VIP cheese room at their new stadium.

The grating news comes as Tottenham’s new £1 billion stadium has been plagued by delays - but the prospect of a cheese room appears too gouda to be true.

When Spurs detailed plans for the exclusive 'H Club', they said fans could "select their own specially sourced half-time cheeses".

The fee for joining H Club is £15,000 and members must buy two tickets when they sign up.

The club say there plans were misunderstood and that the cheese room was never happening.

Reaction has been mixed - some fans are going emmental after the news, most don't give Edam.

The cheese room story may have had more holes in it than a slice of Swiss but the stadium will have the longest bar in the UK

It will be 86.8 metres long and will likely have the shortest queue time of any Premier League club.

Premium Seats will have USB ports and will also be heated. The new White Hart Lane will include the world’s first stadium micro-brewery.
