Roscommon's preparations for their final game in Division 2 of the Allianz Football League have been thrown into disarray.

The Roscommon People report that a member of Anthony Cunningham's panel has tested positive for coronavirus.

A number or other players considered close contacts are also self-isolating.

Last weekend's 3-10 to 0-15 win away to Armagh secured promotion for the Rossies back to Division 1.

The Roscommon County Board are yet to confirm the news.

A Division 3 game between Longford and Cork has already been awarded to the latter, after Longford chose not to fulfil the fixture.

While six Waterford players are believed to be against travelling to Ballymena for their Division 4 encounter with Antrim.

Cavan could do with this weekend's game at Breffni Park going ahead, as they are still in with a shot of promotion themselves.

Killian Clarke, Tomas Galligan, James Smith, Steven Murray and Oisin Pierson will all return to Graham's side for the game with Roscommon.

"We’ll need things to go our way, we’ll need an awful lot of luck," Graham said after their defeat to Kildare.

"But we can’t look back on last weekend and what could have been, we had our chances and we didn’t take them and we’ll move on and hopefully we’ll learn from it.

“I’ll try and correct a few of the wrongs from last weekend and hopefully we’ll put in a performance against Roscommon at the weekend."
