Watford are on the hunt for a new manager.
Quique Sanchez Flores will leave the club at the end of the season.
The Spaniard says himself and club bosses don't share the same view on how to take the club forward
The club released this statement on Friday morning.
“Watford Football Club can confirm that Quique Sanchez Flores will leave Vicarage Road at the end of the season following the Sunderland game this weekend.”
“We would like to thank Quique for a great season. He and the team achieved the target set them at the start of the season of staying in the Premier League for a second year.”
“Quique leaves with all our best wishes for the future and the knowledge he is always welcome at Vicarage Road.”
His last game will be at home to Sunderland on Saturday.
Flores admits it will be an emotional occasion
Watford are 13th in the table, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
They also made the FA Cup semi final this season.
