Chelsea have opened the door for the Premier League's chasing pack as they lost 1-0 at Crystal Palace today.

Elsewhere today, it finished Southampton 4. Newcastle 0. Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and two form Jay Rodriguez scoring for the Saints.

Stoke beat Hull 1-0 at the Brittania. Peter Odemwingie scoring his fourth goal in three games.

Swansea picked up a huge 3-0 win over Norwich in the basement battle.

An unbelieveable game at the Hawthorns finished West Brom 3. Cardiff City 3.Morgan Amalfitano and Graham Dorrans putting the Brummies two up inside 10 minutes.

Jordan Mutch and Stephen Caulker looked to have secured a vital point for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.

Thievy scored in injury time to put West Brom in front, but 19 year old Mats Moller Daehli scored with the last kick of the game for Cardiff.

In the early kick off, it was an eventful day at Old Trafford as Manchester United have come away with a 4-1 win against Aston Villa.

David Moyes recieved a warm welcome from the United fans, but just 2 minutes into the game, a "Moyes Out" banner flew over the Stadium, which was largely booed by the United fans.

Ashley Westwood made things worse by putting Villa 1-0 up after 13 minutes.

But Rooney scored twice before the break. And second half goals from Juan Mata and Hernandez sealed the win.
