O'Connor Into the Semi Finals in Sochi

Snowboarder Seamus O’Connor got things started for Team Ireland at the Winter Olympics in in Sochi this morning. The 16 year old booked a place in the semi finals of the Slopestyle event. O'Connor finished 13th place overall in heat two with a score of 33.50 in his first run and 40.00 on his second run. The semi-final is scheduled for Saturday morning.
