Jose Mourinho didn't hold back in his press conference today, as he started a new war of words with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

And after a week of mind games with Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, Jose Mourinho has now turned his attention the team directly behind them in the Premier League.

Wenger drew first blood today saying that Chelsea need to stop playing down their chances of claiming the Premier League title. He said, "Yes, we are in the title race, and will give everything to go for it. And if we don't do it, I will take full responsibility for it."

But just half an hour later, Jose Mourinho hit back with a vengeance, saying that, "He is a specialist in failure. I'm not."

He continued, "If supposing he is right, and I'm afraid of failure, it's only because I haven't failed many times."

And almost to prove that his first comments weren't in the heat of the moment, the Portuguese said, "the reality is that he's a specialist in failure because eight years without a trophy... That is failure."

Interestingly, Mourinho said in July 2013 that "I respect Wenger a lot. I'll show my respects always."
