Marco Reus will miss Euro 2016.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been left out of Germany's 23-man squad due to a groin injury.
The 27-year-old also missed the 2014 World Cup through injury.
Manchester United's Bastian Schweinsteiger is included in the squad, despite the skipper not having played since March with a knee injury.
Mats Hummels also makes the final 23, with expectations that he will recover from a torn calf muscle in time to play some part in the group stages.
