Leinster answered all the questions asked of them last night as they beat Munster 22-18 at the Aviva to go 5 points clear at the top of the Rabo Pro 12 table.

Brian O'Driscoll scored the only try of the game mid way through the second half, and Ian Madigan kicked the other 17 points for the Boys in Blue.

Leinster where without a front row trio of Cian Healy, Martin Moore and Sean Cronin through injury, but Strauss, Ross and Bent certainly held their own against the Munster front row.

With 57 minutes on the clock, influential flanker Shane Jennings put O'Driscoll over for the decisive try while Munster prop David Kilcoyne was in the sin-bin.

Madigan was the difference as he kicked the vital points for Leinster. The Irish International missed a straight forward kick just before the break, but put that disappointment behind him, to convert another four kicks during the second period.

All attention now turns to the Heineken Cup as Leinster travel to France to take on defending champions Toulon in the quarter finals.
