Full-Time - Dundalk go 6 points clear of Shamrock Rovers after battering Bray 8-1. Brian Kerr sums Bray's predicaent up perfectly - "they're in rag order"

The rout began on 2 mins when Richie Towell volleyed it into the top corner after a ball over the top from Daryl Horgan.

Then it was the turn of the two centre halfs to head goals from corners - first Brian Gartland headed home, then Andy Boyle.

Gartland got a second, Horgan, Massey and Finn also found the back of the net.

GOAL HORGAN ! If this was a game in a park Bray would've kicked the ball in a tree to try and end it, 8-1. Bray have shipped 13 goals in their last two games...

16:46 - You already know what's coming...

16:40 - GOAL... Bray's misery further compounded as Ronan Finn make it 7-1. Stephen O'Donnell and John Mountney combine to set up Finn who rounds the keeper before slotting it into the corner.

16:30 - GOAL - The rout isn't over yet as the champions heap more misery on Bray. Dane Massey getting in on the action and getting their 6th.

16:19 - GOAL - Dundalk continue the game as they started. Daryl Horgan cooly slots home to make it 5-1. Bray have conceeded 10 goals in their last 2 games

15:48 - Half-Time: Dundalk 4-1 Bray. The league leaders in control at the break after a stunning strike from Richie Towell and two set piece goals from their centre-backs, Brian Gartland and Andy Boyle. Bray became the first side to breach the Dundalk defence at Oriel Park as David Cassidy got one from the penalty spot after a Dane Massey foul. Gartland got a second to secure the 3 points before the break, against the goal came from a corner. Bray keeper Stephen McGuinness went off injured after a nasty collision during that set piece.

15:46 - GOAL - Dundalk - Corner - Gartland - header - Goal. Everytime Bray conceede a corner they're in real danger of conceeding.

15:40 - Dundalk 3-1 Bray. The visitors looking to counter attack, they've broke once or twice in the half to cause the Dundalk defence some problems. They won a corner taken by David Cassidy but it's headed clear of any danger.

15:36 - ZZZZZZZZZ- More than 10 mins without a goal, game started at such a frantic pace and we've been denied a bulging net for too long a period. THe football is a joy to watch. The purpose of Dundalk's passing and  the intensity of their play is excellent. They're in complete control but still working hard to heap more misery on Bray.

15:30 - CHANCE - Dundalk could've stretchered their lead. Sean Gannon flashes a ball across goal, a little fortunate to get behind the defender who lost his balance. Nobody is able to get on the end of a dangerous ball across.

15:24 - GOAL - Dundalk find the back of the net again. A second corner, a second goal for the champions. It's their centre-half Andy Boyle that gets it this time. Dundalk's 3rd shot on target leads to a third goal.

15:19 - GOAL - Bray back in it?
David Cassidy became the first man to score a goal at Oriel Park for the visitors this season. It came from the spot after Dane Massey commited the foul.

15:16 - Ronan Finn causing problems plops a ball into the Bray area but McMillan can't get on the end of it and it's cleared.

15:10 - GOAL; Dundalk double their lead - Brian Gartland gets on the end of a Darren Meenan corner to head home as the champions make quick work of dismantling Bray. They conceeded 5 in their last game. It's not looking good early on for the struggling Seagulls here.

15:02 - GOAL; Dundalk go in front early on - it's the man of the moment Richie Towell who has fired the champions in front. A ball over the top from Daryl Horgan was hit on the volley by Towell. The stunning strike left Stephen McGuinness with no chance in the Bray goal

15:00 -
We're underway at Oriel Park - Dundalk unbeaten after 10 games in action against a Bray side desperate to pick up points.

They'll be eager to avoid an 8th defeat. The seagulls will be trying to curtail the influence of Richie Towell. He's scored 9 goals in 10 games as the champions have began their title defence in stunning style.
