Aiden McGeady, John O’Shea and Jon Walters have all been nominated for the 'Three' FAI Senior International Player of the Year Award.
O'Shea is the most senior of the nominees at 33 years of age and has never won the award but finished 2014 on a high, winning his 100th cap in a Euro 2016 qualifier away to Germany - a game in which he scored an incredible injury time equaliser.
McGeady also played a crucial part in the qualifying campaign last year, scoring twice away to Georgia in the group opener, the second - a 90th minute winner.
While he may not have scored any crucial goals in this campaign (yet!) Jonathan Walters is one of manager Martin O'Neill's most reliable and consistent players and very much deserves his nomination.
Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendrick and Cyrus Christie are in the race for the Young International Player of the Year gong.
Three goals (see below) have been nominated for the 'Three' International Goal of the Year: McGeady and O’Shea's aforementioned late strikes as well as Anthony Pilkington’s calm clipped finish in the friendly against the USA in November.
St. Patrick's Athletic striker Christy Fagan, Cork City midfielder Colin Healy, and former Dundalk striker Pat Hoban are nominated for the SSE Airtricity League Player of the Year Award.
The nominations, which were chosen by a panel from the Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland, are divided into 20 categories.
The ceremony takes place on Sunday March 22nd and will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 at 8pm.
