There was plenty of Irish joy on the final day as Don Cossack won the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

It was an Irish 1-2-3 and first Gold Cup success for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Bryan Cooper

There were two other Irish winners on the final day of the festival to take the number of Irish-trained winners for the week to 14, level with the UK total.

The opening race today saw Ivanovich Gorbatov claim victory in the JCB Triumph Hurdle.

And On The Fringe won by a neck following a bunch finish to the Foxhunter Chase to give jockey Nina Carberry her second consecutive win in the race with Enda Bolger the winning trainer.
