Ireland boss Martin O'Neill has rubbished reports that he's set to meet with Nottingham Forest. O'Neill who won a European Cup with Forest as a player has been linked with the job after Billy Davies was sacked earlier this week. They want him as a caretaker manager with only 8 games left in the Championship but the FAI has dismissed speculation that O'Neill might be about to take over until the end of the current campaign. O’Neill's one of a number of names linked with the job at Forest, with owner Fawaz Al Hawasi keen to get somebody in while Forest continue their push for a finish in the Championship play-off places. Stuart Pearce and Neil Warnock have already turned it down in recent days.
