Dublin's Brian Fenton and Michael Fitzsimons have been shortlisted for the Opel GAA/GPA Player of the Month for September.
The pair played a big part in Dublin's All-Ireland success against Mayo.
Fitzsimons was named Man of the Match in Saturday’s replay win at Croke Park, having been drafted into the side to replace David Byrne in the full back line.
Fenton has also had another excellent year and is in the running for Footballer of the Year.
Mayo's Patrick Durcan is also nominated.
The winners will be chosen by the GPA and announced on Thursday 13th October.
Meanwhile, Tipperary's trio of Seamus Callinan, John McGrath and Ronan Maher make up the shortlist for the hurling award, after their stunning performance in the All-Ireland final win over Kilkenny.
