The chairman of Crystal Palace has shot down talk linking the club with a £25million (€27.25m) move for Rhian Brewster.
On Monday, Sky Sports reported that Palace had made a formal bid to Liverpool which would see them pay an initial £19million plus an additional £6million in potential add-ons.
Brewster's future at Anfield looks increasingly uncertain following the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolves.
Jurgen Klopp has long had a settled front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Takumi Minamino was brought in in January, while Jota joins Divock Origi at the Premier League champions.
Brewster came on as a substitute in August's Community Shield defeat to Arsenal, missing a crucial penalty in the decisive shoot-out.
Speaking before that game, Jurgen Klopp hadn't ruled out another loan move for the 20-year old, who scored 11-times in 22 appearances while on loan at Swansea last term.

"He is still a young boy. In this position, as No.9 up front, experience helps a lot. We have to see how we can give him the experience – is it here, is it somewhere else?
"I only mention it because it’s not decided yet, why should we? There’s absolutely no reason to rush anything in that thing.
"He is our boy and now in the moment he is here."
Klopp's words of encouragement have done little to quell talk of a permanent move away before the transfer window closes.
Sky Sports claimed that Brewster was set to join fellow Liverpool cast-off Christian Benteke at Selhurst Park.
However, Palace chairman Steve Parish tweeted to say, "We have asked Sky to take this down as it is a total fabrication from start to finish. We have not made a bid formal or informal."
Sky have since taken the story down from their site.
