The GAA have today published their master fixtures plan for 2020, which includes dates for the brand new Tier Two Football Championship.

The 2020 AIB All-Ireland Club Football and Hurling Semi-Finals and Finals will take place in January.

The 2020/2021 Club semi-finals are set to be played in December with the 2021 All-Ireland Club Finals being played in January of 2021.

Among the other changes, the Leinster football final will be played on a Saturday evening, rotating with Munster in 2021.

There will also be a five-week club window between the end of the Allianz Leagues and the commencement of the Championships.

Meanwhile, ‘Winner on the Day’ competition regulations will be extended to the following games for 2020:

  • All games in Tier 2 Football Championship (exception: final which would be winner on the day in a replay only)
  • Ring and Rackard Cup Semi-finals & Relegation playoffs
  • Replays of Ring, Rackard and Meagher Finals
  • Replays of All Ireland Club Championship semi-finals and finals
  • Replays of U17 & U20 Football and Hurling Finals
  • Replays of SHC Quarter and semi-finals
  • Replays of All Ireland SFC semi-finals

The GAA have also today revealed the fixtures for the 2020 Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues.

Dublin and Kerry will go head-to-head in week one of the football league - at Croke Park on Saturday, January 25th.

Reigning league winners Mayo travel to Donegal in their opening game in Ballybofey.

'Banty' McEnaney's first league game back in charge of the Monaghan senior footballers will be away to Pádraic Joyce's Galway on Sunday, January 26th.

Tyrone will welcome Andy McEntee's Meath to Healy Park in Omagh on the same afternoon.

In the hurling, All-Ireland champions Tipperary will welcome league holders Limerick to Semple Stadium in their first game on Saturday, January 25th.

Galway will play Westmeath in Salthill, with Waterford hosting Cork at Walsh Park the following day.
