Fionnuala Britton has finished tenth in today's women's marathon at the European Championships in Zurich.
This mornings run was Britton's first attempt at the distance, where she finished in a time of 2:31:46. Six minutes behind the overall winner, Christelle Daunay of France.
Ireland finished 7th place in the overall team event with Sarah Mulligan finishing in 36th, and Barbara Sanchez coming home in 41st place.
