Brazilian legend Cafu was among those to welcome Jon Flanagan back to action for Liverpool last night.
The 23-year old academy product made his first appearance for the Reds in 20 months last night off the bench, as they eased past Exeter in their FA Cup third round replay.
The youngster has had two separate knee operations since playing a key role in the club’s Premier League title challenge in 2013/14.
The Anfield crowd gave a huge roar last night to welcome back the player they call "the Scouse Cafu" for his charging runs down the flanks.

And Cafu knew something was up, when his Twitter went into overdrive after Flanagan’s appearance:
I have a thousand tweets! I guess it's the return of a friend to the field!!! @LFC

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was also delighted to have him back:
As was the man himself:
